About Norwich Drones

A camera at 120 metres changes how a place reads.

Norwich Drones flies across the city and the wider county: market rooftops at first light, broadland rivers in high summer, coastal churches, new builds and Norman keeps. Every booking arrives with permissions arranged, a written flight plan and a million pounds of cover behind it, so the only thing left to think about is the shot.

We respect wildlife and the rules that protect it, arrange permission wherever it is required, and keep working contacts at the CAA and Norwich air traffic control.

Based in Norwich, flying all of Norfolk: the Broads, the north coast, Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn, Wymondham, Diss and everywhere between.

Insurance, safety and compliance

Every flight is planned before the props spin.

Norwich sits beside a live airport, so every job begins with careful planning. Here is what we check, confirm and document before we arrive.

Insured

£1,000,000 aviation third party liability with professional indemnity alongside. Proof of cover, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are available before your project begins.

Compliant

CAA Open Category A1 operations with visual line of sight kept at all times. Night flights carry a downward facing green strobe from take-off to landing.

Flown with care

Longer routes are flown in stages with pre-set waypoints and hover points, so every segment stays in sight and sequences join smoothly in the edit.
